Matador64
Inspired by the Commodore 64, Matador64 is a text-based software where you can enter commands and generate text on the screen based on your commands, otherwise it just shows what you have typed.
To begin the game, you just have to click on the blue square on the screen.
Type COMMAND and then press the ENTER key to activate the "command" input, then you can type any one of the following commands:
- CNAME = Change/ Create username
- CVOL = Check the volume level
- MUTE = Mute audio
- MYNAME = Display current username
- PROGRAM = *unfinished*
- UNMUTE = Unmute audio
After typing a command input, you can press the ENTER key to activate the command input.
NOTE: I was a bit new to coding at the time I was developing this game, so I asked ChatGPT for help learning how to code certain features. Don't get me wrong, I didn't intend for ChatGPT to do all of the work for me, I just wanted to use it as a tool to help me learn new tips and tricks so I could use what I've learned to code on my own.
